The Byrd House
Natural light is essential to our wellbeing. The Byrd House is a contemporary design that uses playful shapes to bring as much sunlight into the home as possible. When designing infill houses, one goal is to work with its traditional context while appealing to our modern sensibilities. For this home, we aimed to add a quirky flare to its familiar massing to respect the community’s eccentric history.
